2023 Junior Doubles World Qualifiers

WHO: Open to youth (under 18 yrs old)
WHEN: June 2-4, 2023 (Friday-Sunday)
WHERE: Bear Creek High School, located in Denver, CO (Lakewood), school grounds.
They will provide 12 courts max on the campus softball/baseball fields.
WHAT: NO ENTRY/REGISTRATION FEE for the qualifier or events. This is a 2 day event on Sat/Sun with a meet and greet Friday afternoon. On Saturday there are games and exercises followed by casual games so the kids may get to know each other. We will use games and exercises shared by international trainers. FPUSA will provide 2 precision
shooting kits for a precision shooting competition. On Sunday we will host the Junior Doubles World Qualifier following FPUSA regulations for a 1 day tournament.
FORMAT: The Junior World Qualifier will be a doubles tournament rather than triples in order to allow more participation. It will be a 1 day doubles tournament by which the winners of 1st and 2nd place would form the team of 4 for the Junior’s World Championship. If it is necessary (due to illness or unforeseen reasons) to choose an
alternate player, the 3rd and 4th team players would be eligible for selection by a committee which would consist of 3 people from the event training/evaluations and the FPUSA National Sports Director or Sports Committee member.
*Please note that if a junior is not eligible to qualify in the tournament on Sunday, they will still have an opportunity to compete in the consolante that day.
