What is Pétanque?
Pétanque is different from bocce, although the rules are somewhat similar. This game is played throughout the world as both a casual and competitive sport.
The rules of the game are simple. Each team throws their balls (boules) as close to the target ball (cochonnet) as possible. Whoever is closest gets points. Games are played until a team tallies 13 points!
There are several positions and styles of play. You can point, shoot, or play middle. This is a game of accuracy and strategy that’s fun for all ages.
