ABOUT US
The Mile High Pétanque Club (Est. 2013) is an organization comprised of members dedicated to promoting the French game of boules at all levels of play throughout the greater Denver metro area and the front range, as well as Albuquerque, and Texas. We are a member club of the Federation of Pétanque in the USA and license club members for competitions both nationally and internationally.
In addition to promoting the sport of pétanque in Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas, and bringing new players to the game, the Mile High Pétanque Club is committed to offering opportunities for its members to develop their skills through casual club play, competitive league play, and through the hosting of, and participation in local, regional and national tournaments. We also promote the sport at the junior level through outreach with metro school districts.
Our Club play is designed to promote and publicize the game of pétanque in the community through free, regularly scheduled play on public terrains around the Denver metro area, Albuquerque, and Texas. Club play is open to anyone with no commitment or requirements. This level of play is intended to be casual and non-competitive.
The purpose of this type of play is to develop a strong base of players with a range of playing abilities, interested in meeting and joining other pétanque enthusiasts in the area.
